Organisation, Profile, and Account Settings

Profile, escalation defaults and retention.

Purpose

Settings control the organisation profile, account profile, notifications, escalation ownership, retention, calibration governance, pathway templates, audit exports, and team membership.

Where to go

  1. Sign in.
  2. Open /dashboard/settings.
  3. Use the left navigation to choose Profile, Organisation, Billing, Calibration, Pathway, Notifications, Activity & jobs, Settings, or Audit.

The page shows one settings section at a time so users do not have to scroll through every administrative workflow.

Profile settings

  1. Choose Profile.
  2. Update your name.
  3. Save.
  4. Profile changes are confirmed by toast.
  5. Use Password sign-in in the same section to add or change your password.

Personal notification preferences

  1. Choose Notifications.
  2. Choose relevant pathway event opt-ins. Each box saves on its own as soon as it is ticked or unticked — there is no separate save step — and shows a spinner while it saves.
  3. A refused change flips the box back and says why.
  4. Safeguarding defaults remain protected.

Organisation settings

  1. Choose Organisation.
  2. Update organisation name.
  3. Choose organisation stage.
  4. Save.
  5. Review team membership and invitations in the same section.

Billing settings

  1. Choose Billing.
  2. Review the current plan, subscription status, and monthly AI reasoning usage.
  3. Choose Monthly or Annual.
  4. Select a plan. Owners are redirected to Stripe Checkout when a paid subscription is required.
  5. Use Manage billing and invoices after subscribing to update card details or review invoices.

Starter organisations may see upgrade cards on workflows such as incident imports, collaborative SEND review, and audit exports. These cards link back to Billing.

Escalation ownership

  1. Choose Settings.
  2. Choose the default escalation owner.
  3. Save.
  4. Future urgent or SENCO-review reports can route to this owner.

Retention settings

  1. Choose Settings.
  2. Set retention days.
  3. Save.
  4. Retention changes are audited.

Calibration settings

  1. Choose Calibration.
  2. Review extraction provider health, calibration metrics, proposed scoring-weight updates, releases, and rollback history.
  3. Use these controls for non-diagnostic governance meetings, not diagnostic decisions.
  4. Calibration governance is a Trust plan feature; lower tiers see an upgrade card.

Pathway settings

  1. Choose Pathway.
  2. Edit organisation wording, checklist templates, pathway-specific owners, and notification routing.
  3. Save changes when the wording is agreed locally.

Activity & jobs

  1. Choose Activity & jobs.
  2. Workspace activity lists invitations, role changes, retention settings and plan changes.
  3. Scheduled jobs shows whether senco's daily jobs, including retention enforcement, are healthy and when each last ran. See Audit Timeline, Exports, and Admin Monitoring.

Audit timeline

  1. Choose Audit.
  2. Filter the timeline by text, event type, risk level, and date range.
  3. Use saved export presets or export jobs for larger reviews.
  4. Retained audit export jobs are a School plan feature.

Sign out

Use the sign-out button in the public header, dashboard header, or settings page.

Authentication and password settings

senco supports both email magic links and password sign-in.

  1. Open /auth/sign-in.
  2. Choose Email link to receive a secure one-click sign-in link.
  3. Choose Password to sign in with email and password.
  4. Choose Create account to create a password account.
  5. Open /dashboard/settings?settingsTab=profile.
  6. Find Password sign-in.
  7. Leave Current password blank when adding your first password after magic-link onboarding.
  8. Enter Current password when changing an existing password.
  9. Enter and confirm the new password.
  10. Save.

If transactional email is configured, magic links and password-reset emails are sent through the email provider using the shared branded senco email shell. In development or fallback states, delivery may be logged depending on environment configuration.
