Update a member role
- Open team settings.
- Find the member.
- Change their role.
- Save. A role is a permission, so it keeps its own
Savebutton rather than changing as soon as the list is touched. - The badge moves as soon as
Saveis pressed, and the button shows a spinner until the change is stored. If it is refused, the badge goes back to what it was and a message says why. - Role changes affect protected workflow permissions.
Notification preferences
Team-level and profile-level notification preferences can be configured for pathway events. Personal opt-in preferences should complement, not weaken, safeguarding defaults.
Each box saves itself: tick or untick one and it is stored on its own, with a spinner on that box while it saves. There is no separate Save notification preferences button, which previously made a tick look applied before it had been sent. A refused change flips the box back and says why.
